Italy: Zamperla Launches New Ride “Gryphon“

During the first edition of its “Fun Week” – an online product & project presentation format by Zamperla to take place once per month until the end of this year – the Italian manufacturer launched its new spinning attraction ”Gryphon”, being one of the few ride configurations for a single rider experience.

During the ride, the 24 gondolas initially rotate at 13 rpm around the center axis of the installation, through a swivel joint they also move up and down, reaching an angle of up to 100 degrees and a height of up to six meters. The ride experience is planned to remind visitors of old fashion classics. The new ride experience, which has a diameter of around 22 meters, is accessible to people with a body height of 120 centimeters and more. (eap)
