Japan: LEGOLAND Japan Welcomes First Visitors
LEGOLAND Japan, which is located in the city of Nagoya, officially opened its doors for visitors on April 1st, 2017, three years after the new destination had been announced by Merlin Entertainments. In total, visitors to the park can discover seven different areas, including “Miniland”, which comprises LEGO brick replicas of famous sights such as Tokyo Station, Kiyomizu Temple in Kyoto and Nagoya Castle.
After LEGOLAND Malaysia, LEGOLAND Japan is Merlin’s second LEGO midway destination in Asia. Later this year, LEGOLAND South Korea will open its doors as the third location on the Asian continent (c.f. EAP news from December 5th, 2014). (eap)
