Monte Baranci Park with New Tubing and Sklide Track
(eap) The “Monte Baranci” mountain in the Dolomite region 3 Zinnen in South Tyrol, Italy promises family fun in winter as well as in summer. While there is the possibility of going skiing or tobogganing in the colder months, in summer there is a high ropes course, a summer toboggan run and a tubing track, among other things, to enjoy. As early as 2003, the Italian company Neveplast installed one of its first tubing tracks in the Haunold Park. This summer, a new 72-meter-long tubing track with two parabolic curves followed. In addition, Neveplast’s product “SKLIDE” was introduced, which consists of three parallel tracks on which even the youngest sliders can have some racing fun. Sliding is done on a “Sklidebob” with a kind of “joystick” in the middle. Both attractions are serviced by a conveyor belt for uphill transport, provided by Sunkid.
“In our 25 years of operation, I’ve had the opportunity to travel and visit numerous mountain destinations, and I must say that the landscape of Monte Baranci is one of the most spectacular in the world, also recognized by UNESCO. However, breathtaking natural views alone are no longer enough to drive tourism in the mountains, especially during the summer season. Vision is needed, along with a variety of services and entertainment offerings to cater to a broader audience,” said Niccolò Bertocchi, CEO of Neveplast.
