Netherlands: Next “Pasar Malam” Indonesian Night Market at Burgers’ Zoo

The Royal Burgers’ Zoo in the Dutch city of Arnhem once again invites visitors to its “Pasar Malam” Indonesian night market, which will be held on December 23^rd and from December 27^th until December 30^th this year as well as from January 2^nd through January 7^th, 2018 in the “Burgers’ Bush” zoo area (featuring a rainforest ecosystem). In the midst of dense vegetation and free-range animals guests can browse through stands full of exotic souvenirs. Furthermore, there will be music and dance shows on two stages and the “Bush restaurant” will offer a diverse range of Indonesian food: "Rendang", "Gado" or "Saté" – lovers of exotic dishes will be delighted.

For each day of this special event, the zoo will extend its opening hours to 8 p. m. – during the extended opening hours, besides "Burgers' Bush" visitors can also discover the covered rocky desert, "Burgers' Ocean" and the "Kids Jungle" area. (eap)
