New “Adventure Cove” Waterpark Opens at Community in Texas

(eap) A family-friendly water park called Adventure Cove recently opened in the Meridiana residential community in Iowa Colony, Texas. As a result, residents have gained a swimming facility in their immediate neighbourhood. They can enjoy a wave pool, a tidal river, a fitness centre and a food truck park, among other amenities. The American Aquatic Development Group (ADG), which also supplied the wave systems, was responsible for the design and construction of the water park. The two main attractions include a Tidal River^®, which is over 550 ft (167 m) long and generates waves up to 2.5 ft (76 cm) tall, as well as a 9,300 sqft (864 m²) wave pool, where all visitors can have fun thanks to family-friendly waves. In addition, there is a slightly smaller pool that can be used for swimming or playing. For example in one corner of the pool there are hoops where water basketball can be played. ■
