New Weekday Schedule for GaLaBau Trade Show 2026
(eap) GaLaBau, the International Trade Fair for Urban Green and Open Spaces, which is run in a two-year cycle in September at the exhibition centre in Nuremberg, Germany, will take place from Tuesday through Friday instead of Wednesday to Saturday next time (in 2026). The four-day duration of the trade show will be kept, but the change of weekdays will allow participants to reliably plan ahead, to profit from a less costly booth dismantling, better travel options and a more even distribution of visitors over the four trade show days. Among the participants in the GaLaBau trade show are also manufacturers and planners of themed play structures for leisure facilities.
“We believe it is important to announce this major change in good time, to allow participants to reliably plan ahead and to show that we are taking the change requested by exhibitors seriously and implementing it in a timely fashion,” says Stefan Dittrich, Director GaLaBau at NürnbergMesse. “Visitors, especially from gardening and landscaping businesses, will also welcome this change because in future they will no longer have to use up a Saturday to visit the fair.
“We are confident that the response to this change will be extremely positive and that it will make GaLaBau even stronger in the future,” adds Thomas Banzhaf, President of the BGL (German Association for Gardening, Landscaping and Sports Ground Construction), the honorary sponsor of GaLaBau. The next edition of GaLaBau takes place from Tuesday, Sept 15 through Friday, Sept 18 at the halls of NürnbergMesse in Nuremberg, Germany. ■
