Norway: Pål Winter Appointed New General Manager of Kongeparken
As recently announced, Pål Winter (photo) has been named new General Manager of Norway’s Kongeparken amusement park, which is located close to the city of Stavanger in the southwest of the country and owned by the Lund Group, with effect from January 1st 2019. Winter has worked for 17 years at Dyreparken Kristiansand animal and leisure park, most recently he held the role as CEO of the related Dyreparken Hotel.
“I’m looking forward to my new challenge at Kongeparken and to the region, which has a high growth potential in tourism. I’m confident that I can help shape the further positive development of the park. Kongeparken is a unique leisure destination and plays a major role in local and national tourism,” said Winter.
“We’re really happy that Pål will take over the position as General Manager of Kongeparken […]. Together with the entire team, he will further develop the park. For 20 years, the Lund family has been operating Kongeparken and we are confident to have found with Pål the ideal person to take over the position as the park’s General Manager,” said Håkon Lund, President of Lund Group.
