(eap) For ten years now, Parque Warner Beach, the second gate water park of Parque Warner Madrid, both managed by Parques Reunidos, has been providing refreshment on hot summer days in the Spanish capital. Covering an area of around 40,000 square metres, a wide variety of water fun awaits visitors of all ages. The offer ranges from tranquil attractions such as wave pools, lazy rivers and water play structures to adrenaline-promising large water slides, which, for example, allow for mat races, are used with large multiple-person rafts have some exciting light and sound effects.

Most recently, “Black Manta” (a 120 metre long and 14 metre high “TornadoWAVE 45”) and “Aquaman” (a “FlyingSAUCER 60” slide) from Canadian manufacturer ProSlide, opened two years ago (c.f. EAP news from 24 June 2022). Several large WhiteWater slides are also among the attractions at Parque Warner Beach, all of which are themed with Warner Bros. characters – including superheroes and villains from the “DC Universe” and characters such as “Scooby Doo”, which are particularly popular with younger children.

At an official “birthday party” event held yesterday to mark the water park’s tenth anniversary, park guests had the opportunity to enjoy some exclusive experiences supported by Spanish singer and influencer Xuso Jones, among others. Neighbouring Parque Warner, which has been providing fun for families and groups of friends for 22 years now with numerous rides, shows and other entertainment options, is one of the most popular leisure destinations in Spain together with Parque Warner Beach. ■
