Pleasure Beach Resort Opens Nickelodeon Land in February
(eap) The British Pleasure Beach Resort on the south coast of the seaside town Blackpool in Lancashire, England, has announced that part of its park will open this year just in time for the UK half term in February. From 15 to 23 February, families will be able to experience the Nickelodeon Land attractions as well as the “Wallace & Gromit’s Thrill-O-Matic” darkride.
“This is the first time in over ten years we have opened for February half term in its entirety, and we’re really excited about it. We understand that the demand for cost-friendly things to do in February half term is ever-growing. Each year parents look for things to do with their children come rain or shine. So, over the winter period our team has worked especially hard to get Nickelodeon Land open before the rest of the park. We want families and friends to be able to have something to look forward to in the first academic break of the year,” explains Amanda Thompson OBE, Managing Director of Pleasure Beach Resort.
The rest of the park opens on 1 March for the 2025 season, which runs until November. New this season will be the reopening of the “Launch Pad” freefall tower (formerly “Ice Blast”) with new theming (see EAP news from 12.12.2024). ■
