(eap) Plopsa opened a new concept store, Plop-Up, in Nieuwpoort at the weekend. Located near the coast, the store offers visitors the opportunity to find out all about Plopsaland De Panne and Plopsaqua, which are located in the same town, as well as all other Plopsa parks in Belgium and abroad. Of course, various Studio 100 merchandising items as well as park and show tickets can also be purchased. The Plop-Up is characterized by the use of 17 screens to guarantee an interactive experience.

The grand opening took place in the presence of Carl Lenaerts (CEO Plopsa), Greet Vanden Broucke (Mayor of Nieuwpoort), the two city councillors Jos Decorte and Frans Lefevre as well as the popular Studio 100 characters Kabouter Klus, Bumba and Bumbalu.

“We are delighted to be able to open the ‘Plop-Up’ and give our visitors the opportunity to experience the Plopsa magic in a dynamic and visually appealing way,” says Carl Lenaerts. “The ‘Plop-Up’ is a perfect addition to our existing parks and strengthens our presence on the Belgian coast.” ■
