Private Label VR Presents New DIY Free-Roam VR Arena
(eap) The American developer of Virtual Reality (VR) arenas Private Label VR has recently introduced a new DIY free-roam VR arena, which is designed to enable entertainment centres to operate a VR arena flexibly and easily. According to the company, the ROAM arena can be combined with any software, such as “Synthesis VR”, “Hero Zone”, “VR Cave” or “Phenomena”. Furthermore, it can integrate any headset, including “HTC VIVE Focus 3”, “Pico 4” and “Meta Quest 3”, and has optional memory and sufficient power for high-end gaming PCs to support PCVR streaming. The arena is available as a design package or customized to individual design concept. It is available in three sizes: 4 x 4 meters, 5 x 5 meters and 10 x 10 meters.
“The challenge with VR attractions is when they’re not being played, they look dead,” said McKay Christenson, Founder and CEO of Private Label VR. “We invested a lot to engineering a system that is affordable to manufacture. An operator couldn’t make this themselves for what we can sell it for. We wanted to make a great-looking attraction that operators can set up in a day, and start making money.”
The Roam VR Arena is distributed exclusively via The VR Collective, a marketplace for VR attractions and arcade games. ■
