(eap) The British charity Punchdrunk Enrichment, which is known for its immersive theatre shows and pedagogical offers, has a new location in London’s Wembley Park in Brent since May 2023. After various projects have already been carried out there, the first show entitled “Enitan’s Game”, which is aimed in particular at school children aged six to eleven, starts there today.

Enitan’s Game is about the girl “Enitan” and “Ged”, two friends who love to collect objects and stories. One of these items is a game that Enitan’s grandfather created for her when she first arrived in the UK. They used to play it together when Enitan was sad or homesick. Now Enitan’s grandfather has gone and she needs the guests to help her play the game again. The show was co-created by Mia Jerome and Peter Higgin (Artistic Director at Punchdrunk Enrichment). The aim of Punchdrunk Enrichment’s offerings is not just to tell stories, but to unlock the storytellers in their guests.

“We’re really excited to be throwing open the doors of our new space in Brent and welcoming families to our brand-new show ‘Entian’s Game’. This is the first of many exciting projects Punchdrunk Enrichment have lined up over the coming months and we look forward to working with people both local and from further afield and introducing them to our immersive worlds,” said Higgin.

Enitan’s Game can be experienced at Wembley Park until September 1st of this year. ■
