Red Sea Mall Adds S-Kid-Track to Leisure & Activity Options

(eap) The Red Sea Mall shopping and lifestyle centre in the Saudi port city of Jeddah has added an “S-Kid” track from Italian manufacturer Neveplast to its range of leisure activities complementing the various shopping options. The “S-Kid” track is an artificial sliding floor on which children and teenagers (target group age: 7-15 years) can pick up speed and drift around in small electric karts. The attraction promises entertaining fun and also requires only 300 to 500 square metres of space, making it a suitable addition to retail centres.
“[…] We saw an opportunity to create a one-of-a-kind attraction that blends the thrill of go-karting with the dynamic sensation of drifting. […] The initial impressions have been overwhelmingly positive. Customers, both adults and children, have expressed immense excitement. [...] While currently under consideration, we are actively exploring the feasibility and potential demand also for a year-round Neveplast ski slope, and we may pursue the development of it to further enhance our offerings for families and skiing enthusiasts,” outlines Iman Machlab, responsible for marketing at FAWASEL Entertainment & Tourism.
The Red Sea Mall‘s entertainment offerings currently include a bowling centre, an indoor karting track, VR games, playgrounds and the Adventura Arena, a dedicated kiddie entertainment centre. ■
