Roaring Springs Water Park Expands
(eap) The Meridian, Idaho-based Roaring Springs Water Park has comprehensive expansion measures underway. In seven phases over the next ten to 15 years, the destination aims to grow into one of the largest water parks of the United States. The first phase of that investment plan was completed this year. Several new attractions designed and built by Aquatic Development Group (ADG) draw visitors to the park:
An 8,000-square-feet multi-level play structure called “Camp IdaH20” is delighting younger guests. Here, they find seven slides and various animal-themed play elements. In addition, there is a new approximately 3,200-feet-long activity pool called “Critter Crossing”, which includes forest-themed floating elements such as beavers, from which it is possible to move hand over hand or jump from one to the other. Also, there is a new action river, which features ADG’s “Breakers™” wave generation system. The 14,250-square-foot river can also be conquered with kickboards.
In addition to the new attractions, Roaring Springs has added 16 luxury cabins and a new restaurant, the “Geyser Grill & Bar”. In the next few years, some more exciting water slides are to be added to the park and the whole site of the destination is to grow further. ■
