SEVEN Plans Next Major Entertainment Destination

(eap) SEVEN (Saudi Entertainment Ventures) is planning to develop the next new entertainment destination in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, precisely between Abha and Khamis Mushait near the Abha International Airport. The planned destination is part of SEVEN’s plan to develop a total of 21 new entertainment destinations in the Kingdom. Some SAR 1.3 billion (around EUR 318 million) is to be invested in this coming facility, which will encompass a ground space of around 64,000 square meters. It will include a family entertainment center with various attractions such as different arcade games, VR areas and rides.
Furthermore, there will be a jungle-themed attraction developed in cooperation with Warner Bros. Discovery, a “PLAY-DOH” brand experience center in partnership with Hasbro, and a modern twelve-hole mini golf course. Also, there will be a venue for live events, a ten-lane bowling alley, a ten-screen cinema from AMC as well as various retail and F&B offerings. The architectural firm of Genler is responsible for the design of the entire complex, while Modern Building Leaders has been commissioned to undertake the construction work.

We are forecasting a GDP contribution of more than SAR 4 billion and over 5 million visitors by 2030. In addition to creating more than hundreds of direct and indirect jobs for the people of Aseer region,” states Abdullah AlDawood, Chairman of SEVEN, adding “We have been keen, in cooperation with the Aseer Development Authority and under the direct supervision of Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, to ensure that the architectural design of the destination is inspired by the ancient heritage of the region, while providing unique and distinctive entertainment attractions for guests of all age groups, enriching their quality of life.
