(eap) Parques Reunidos has announced a new General Manager for its associated Italian theme park Mirabilandia (located near Ravenna, Italy): Sabrina Mangia, who has more than 21 years of experience in the leisure industry – some of them already in leading positions at Mirabilandia – is taking over from her predecessor Riccardo Capo, who has been at the helm of the park since 2022. As Sales & Marketing Director, Mangia has been responsible for managing units and divisions focused on budget planning, communication and advertising (amongst others) since 2017. Since 2022, she was also in charge of the park’s PR strategy, events, sales and revenue management. Most recently she also took over the role of Head of Sponsorships for Spain and Italy.

“[...] With more than 21 years of experience in the amusement industry, Sabrina Mangia has consistently demonstrated outstanding leadership and passion for our business. We congratulate Sabrina and look forward to working with her to shape the future of Mirabilandia and Parques Reunidos,” comments the Spanish operating group. Mirabilandia adds: “We are delighted that Sabrina Mangia is taking over from Riccardo Capo as the new General Manager of Mirabilandia. The management of the Parques Reunidos Group and all of us at Mirabilandia thank Riccardo Capo for the excellent work he has done and wish him continued success and all the best. Under the leadership of Sabrina Mangia, the park – together with the talented team of employees – will continue to strive to achieve best results, not least with the great new attractions coming in 2025!” (Mirabilandia is restructuring and overhauling the children’s area for next season.)

Founded in 1992, Mirabilandia is one of the largest amusement parks in Italy – covering an area of 85 hectares, it offers more than 45 attractions and shows, which can be found in six themed areas. In the summer season, guests can also have fun in the associated Mirabeach water park, enjoying a Caribbean atmosphere. ■
