Schwaben Park: With “Hans Dampf” on a Crazy Trip around the World
(eap) From tomorrow, visitors to Southern Germany’s Schwaben Park will be able to embark on an adventurous journey. The new indoor attraction “Hans Dampf – the totally crazy trip around the world” will be officially opened. The attraction is a kind of train simulator supplied from the also German company aufwind Rides, which takes visitors on a multi-sensory journey through the Swabian forest, under the sea and through the desert. The experience starts in the waiting area, equipped with Artificial Intelligence and other storytelling elements. A world hemisphere sets the mood for the journey with Hans Dampf. Two trains are waiting at the station so that a total of 48 passengers can embark on the adventurous journey at the same time. The new attraction is aimed at the whole family: children under the age of eight can ride accompanied by an adult, and wheelchair users can access the simulator as well.
“My grandfather and my father live by the motto ‘Grandma has to be able to ride with her grandchildren’. The attraction is not only a weather-independent ride, but also an experience for young and old and motivates guests to visit an amusement park even on less sunny days. Especially with a view to the winter opening, ‘Hans Dampf’ complements the Schwaben Park portfolio in two respects,” says André Hudelmaier, third-generation Managing Director of Schwaben Park.
“With the aim of creating unforgettable moments, we have created a unique adventure journey across several stations. Hans Dampf offers a unique combination of nostalgia, technology and adventure,” comments Lutz Bayer, Managing Director of aufwind Rides, proudly.
