SeaWorld Orlando: Arctic-Themed Flying Theater to Be 2025 Novelty

(eap) SeaWorld Orlando has announced that it will open a Flying Theater in spring 2025 – guests can look forward to a flying adventure over the Arctic. Snow-capped mountains and towering glaciers, crystal clear waters, the majestic Aurora Borealis in the night sky, beluga whales, walruses and orcas ... are some of the most spectacular highlights of this remote and largely untouched corner of the world.

The new experience is set to last a total of 4.5 minutes and will be open to riders with a minimum height of one meter. For the ride system, SeaWorld Orlando and its parent company United Parks & Resorts opted for a solution with back-to-back configuration (with multiple levels and a total of 30 seats on each side), which promises efficient loading/unloading processes.

Jon Peterson, President of SeaWorld Orlando, comments: “We are thrilled to introduce this first-of-its-kind attraction at SeaWorld Orlando. This indoor immersive flying theater experience reinforces our commitment to education, animal care and research. As guests embark from the attraction, they’ll find themselves in the awe-inspiring wonder of one of the world’s most remote places, face-to-face with some of those very animals found within the Arctic such as beluga whales, walruses and more. By bringing the wonders of the Arctic to life, we are offering guests an unparalleled and immersive experience that will create lasting memories for people of all ages.” ■
