(eap) In order to successfully handle the major order from a premium customer in the entertainment industry in Orlando (USA), the German company Simtec Systems is expanding its production site (“Simtec Manufactory”) at its headquarters in Braunschweig (Lower Saxony) with new manufacturing capacities. Only in 2018, the globally active expert for motion-based simulators and attractions had commissioned a new production facility at the Braunschweig Research Airport with 5,500 square meters of assembly and testing space. Now, a large loading and unloading zone for trucks and access to the hall have already been newly added. Construction work has also begun inside the production hall to meet all of the customer’s assembly and testing requirements. In addition, another warehouse with an area of approx. 800 square meters is currently being built in the northeast of the company site in order to keep the distances to the production hall as short as possible. While the major order has created additional jobs at the company’s headquarters, Simtec is still looking for qualified personnel from various fields.
