Six Flags and Coca-Cola Extend Their Strategic Cooperation
The two U.S. companies Six Flags Entertainment, operator of a total of 27 theme and water parks in the U.S., Mexico and Canada, and The Coca-Cola Company announced the extension of their multi-year partnership. As a result, the beverage company continued to secure exclusive rights to the parks’ entire drink portfolio, including its Coke®, diet Coke®, Coke® Zero Sugar, Sprite®, Dasani®, Powerade®, Simply® Juices, Gold Peak® tea, smartwater®, Monster®, and Minute Maid® Lemonade brands.
“Coca-Cola is a best-in-class company that creates many unique ways to activate with our guests and elevate their experience throughout the season,” said Stephanie Borges, Global Vice President of Marketing and Partnerships at Six Flags Entertainment. She adds, “This renewed partnership will deliver new areas of opportunity and allow us to engage with our multi-generational guests in a more authentic way.” “We are excited to continue our long-standing partnership with Six Flags, and are energized about the future,” said Rachel Chahal, Director of Amusement Partnerships for Coca-Cola. Chahal continues, “Together, we will continue to refresh Six Flags guests every season.”
Part of the agreement is to create innovative activations and unique offers in the parks that can only be experienced at Six Flags. In this context, an eGaming project is planned for this summer. In addition, park guests will be able to profit from numerous amenities such as VIP lounges, special drinks as well as tentpole events and festivals. (eap)
