Smash & Reload Dark Ride in New Maxi Version

(eap) BoldMove Nation and Triotech present the well-known “Smash & Reload” dark ride in a new maxi format. This means that the compact, media-based gameplay attraction, which was successfully opened in its standard version with a floor area of 225 square metres and a capacity of up to 430 pph last spring at the French theme and animal park Le PAL (see EAP 4/23), is now also available in a larger version. This completes the Smash & Reload product series of the Belgian planning and development company, which Triotech equips with its interactive technology. A transportable mini version of the dark ride, which is primarily aimed at FECs and shopping malls, is already available. In the new maxi version, the Smash & Reload attraction has a floor area of 315 square metres and offers a capacity of up to 600 persons per hour. Like the existing sizes, the Maxi version can be integrated into existing buildings and expanded with an interactive walkthrough/pre-show.

At the recent IAAPA Expo in Orlando (see EAP 1/24), BoldMove had already introduced a new IP called “Voodoo Festival” for the Smash & Reload family. This is about voodoo doll characters coming to life in an elaborate fun and spooky fairground theming. In addition to continuous new and further product developments, BoldMove has also recently strengthened its position on the market with a regular presence in Germany, where the company recently moved into a new workspace in Cologne and offers customers regular meetings and project discussions there. ■
