Spa Manager Awards 2024 Presented

(eap) This year, the German Wellness Association has once again recognized the top achievements of professionals in the spa industry in the German-speaking area with the “Spa Manager Awards”. The program of the elimination competition, which lasted several months, began in September 2023. On April 14, the six finalists were finally presented at FIBO, the world’s largest trade fair for fitness, wellness and health, in Cologne. This year, the competition was held in the two categories “Hotel Spa” and “Resort Spa” with a total of 20 nominees.

The award winners:

Hotel Spa category:

1. Kimberly Wahry, Klosterhof Alpine Hideaway & Spa (Bayerisch Gmain, Germany)
2. Petra Litz, Land & Golf Hotel Stromberg (Stromberg, Germany)
3. Florian Sperlich, aja Bad Saarow (Bad Saarow, Germany)

Spa Resort category:

1. Lisa Markl, Naturhotel Forsthofgut (Leogang, Austria)
2. Sabrina Schmidt, Falkensteiner Schlosshotel Velden am Wörthersee (Velden, Austria)
3. Sara Comper, Seeleiten Lake Spa Hotel (Kaltern, South Tyrol)

The jury that decided the winners this year was made up of Gesine Ponto, Keven Prünster and Joram Schirmaier, three experienced spa professionals and consultants. Congratulations to all the winners! ■
