interSPA Group Takes over Salztal Paradies Bad Sachsa

(eap) The Stuttgart-based interSPA Group, which operates the Wonnemar leisure pools in Germany, has announced that it will take over the operational management of the Salztal Paradies water world complex in Bad Sachsa, Germany. As of November 1, the group will be responsible for the operational management of the existing pool and ice-skating facility. For the time being, nothing will change for guests or employees. However, plans are already underway to make the existing areas even more attractive and to develop the site into a vacation resort.

For example, a two-story hotel with 104 rooms, medical gym and restaurant is to be built in the lower part of the site, which will be connected to the rest of the complex so that hotel guests can take advantage of all services without having to leave the building. Also, there will be an additional parking deck and 15 RV parking spaces. In total, more than 49 million euros are to be invested in the modernization of the resort over the next two years. The architectural firm MundelArchitekten has been commissioned with the general planning. After completion, the leisure pool resort is to be given the name affix of “Wonnemar”. ■
