Taiwan: “Rise Up VR Airship Ride” – A VR Flight Attraction for Retail Centers & Museums
The specialized manufacturer of media-based motion simulator attractions Brogent Technologies has presented the new “Rise Up VR Airship Ride”, an attraction novelty especially suitable for retail centers, museums and mixed-use complexes that aim at entertaining their customers and visitors with a virtual flight experience.
The ride features a steampunk design as a zeppelin with four gondolas, each of which can be used by up to four guests at a time (depending on the total weight). Guests are equipped with VR headsets and the virtual flight, simulated by a 6 DOF motion platform, over spectacular landscapes and locations begins.
Various film content is already available for selection, including “Around the World” that visitors to next week’s IAAPA Expo in Orlando will be able to experience at the manufacturer’s booth, where the team will showcase their attraction innovation. Wind, sound and lighting effects round out the virtual world tour. (eap)
