Tractor Tour with “Fien & Teun” at Adventure Farm Molenwaard

(eap) How does a chicken lay an egg? Is a tomato a vegetable or a fruit? And how do bees make honey? Kids get answers to these questions at the Dutch Molenwaard Adventure Farm located in the province of Southern Holland. The family destination combines the hustle and bustle of farm life with themed attractions and nature experience stations, such as a barefoot path, a vegetables and butterfly garden, a boat ride, playgrounds and an open-air theater.
Since the past weekend, visitors young and young-at-heart can join the park’s mascots “Fien” and “Teun” on a tractor tour. Close to the bird watching hub, the adventure farm opened a Tractor Ride attraction from Swiss manufacturer abc Rides. It features a number of large colourful tractors, which drive along a track passing a lovingly themed farm (overall theming carried out by Themics). The drive speed can be influenced interactively by the guests, and a large steering wheel gives kids the feeling of driving a real tractor. Thanks to an anti-collision system, the single vehicles cannot crash. Up to two adults and two kids can ride together.
