Turkey: Titanic Golf Resort Belek Opens World’s First Rift Slide from Polin
Among the new giant slides is the slide with the product name Rift, first introduced by Polin in 2021.
Located in the holiday resort of Belek, east of Antalya (Turkey), the Titanic Deluxe Golf Belek offers its guests on a total area of 170,000 square meters, in addition to 594 rooms, a 15,000-square-meter-large outdoor waterpark that has been extensively renovated and now boasts nine water slides for adults, a 210-square meter large swimming pool, a kids’ pool with a water play structure including seven slides and several interactive toys.
Among the nine giant slides is the slide with the product name “Rift”, first introduced by the manufacturer Polin Waterparks in fall 202, which features numerous theming options and an eye-catching design thanks to its unusual outrun section (in the form of a ring, which, however, is not passed through completely by the riders, but allows the tubes to swing back and forth and then releases them downwards into the outlet via a centrally placed hole).
Other slide models from the manufacturer that can be found at this waterpark include a Rafting + Turbolance combination, a Black Hole Rafting + Flying Boats combination, a Multislide, Space Hole, Looping Rocket, Freefall, Kamikaze, and Windigo slides. (eap)
