UK: Magical Plants & Creatures – Warner Bros. Studio Tour London with New Features as of July
From July 2022, the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter will feature a new magical area: the greenhouse where “Professor Pamona Spout“ teaches herbology. Here, visitors can marvel at exotic and magical plants and during the interactive experience – watch out, cover your ears – even pull a “Mandrake“ out of its pot themselves. As always, there is also a glimpse behind the scenes of the film production. Fans can learn how the movements of the “Venomous Tentacula“ – a fictional poisonous plant from the Harry Potter universe – were produced. The greenhouse will become a permanent part of the Studio Tour, but will initially open on 1 July as part of the new “Mandrakes and Magical Creatures“ feature. Until 12 September, visitors will be welcomed into the Great Hall with the “Frog Choir“ familiar from “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban“ and can then embark on an exciting tour around “Cornish Pixies“, “Fawkes“ and the “Monster Book of Monsters“.
In addition, Harry Potter fans will soon be able to see a 1:3 scale-version of the “Weasleys‘ Burrow“ and the fountain from the Hogwarts courtyard on a permanent basis in the outdoor area of the Studio Tour. (eap)
