USA: AIMS International Announces New Board Officers and Directors at its Helm
The Texas-based, internationally organized industry association AIMS International (AIMS: Amusement Industry Manufacturers & Suppliers) recently named new board officers and directors, who took over their respective positions on April 1st this year. Franceen Gonzales, WhiteWater West’s executive vice president business development for the North & South American markets, is new president of the association, replacing Tim Viox, who served in this role for the past two years.
Tony Claassen, rides maintenance compliance officer at Herschend Family Entertainment, was appointed new vice president and, George Tso, engineering executive director at Ocean Park Hong Kong, has assumed the role of the association’s secretary. Linda Freeman from Rockwell Automation remains treasurer.
Furthermore, during this year’s AIMS annual membership meeting in January, three new board directors have been elected: Monty Jasper, corporate vice president of safety & engineering at Cedar Fair Entertainment Company; Dr. Kathryn Woodcock, engineering professor at Toronto/Canada’s Ryerson University and David Bromilow, global director of parks & attractions at Mobaro Park (cf.
