USA: David Cromwell Announced as Busch Gardens Williamsburg's New Park President

As of April 1, David Cromwell will be leading the Virginia-based Busch Gardens Williamsburg theme park as well as the Water Country USA water park, which is located in close proximity to Busch Gardens. The current Vice President of Aquatica San Diego succeeds Carl Lum, who has been promoted to Park President of the San Antonio, Texas-based SeaWorld and Aquatica parks this past mid-February (cf. EAP News from February 29, 2016).
Cromwell began his career with SeaWorld Parks & Entertainement in 1997 at SeaWorld San Diego. Since that time, he has led teams in a variety of positions across the company. In 2006, he became SeaWorld San Diego’s Director of Park Operations before he was promoted to the park’s Vice President of Park Operations two years later. Between 2010 and 2012, Cromwell already worked for Water Country USA in the position of Vice President. (eap)
