USA: Disney Announces Opening Date for “Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure“

During a virtual meeting of shareholders of the Walt Disney Company, Disney CEO Bob Chapek announced the opening date of the new family attraction “Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure“, which will take place on October 1st as part of the kick-off for “The World’s Most Magical Celebration“ honoring Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th anniversary. Originally, the opening date was planned for summer 2020 (cf. EAP 6/2019) but had to be rescheduled due to the corona pandemic.
The new ride will be located in the “France Pavilion“ of EPCOT and will enable visitors to take a look into “Gusteau’s“ kitchen through the perspective of Remy’s eyes. Guest will board rat-designed wagons which will drive trackless through the kitchen setting. The design of the France Pavilion acquires the Paris athmosphere of the animation blockbuster from 2007 and will also be home to a new restaurant named La Crêperie de Paris where French cuisine such as sweet crêpes, savory buckwheat galettes and French hard cider will be served.
