USA: New York’s Water & Theme Park Resort Darien Lake to Add Two New Attractions

Located between Buffalo and Rochester, New York’s water & theme park resort Darien Lake will add two new attractions this coming season. The resort’s water park Splashtown will open up “Brain Drain”, a new free fall waterslide attraction featuring two slide lanes each fitted with a launch capsule and trap door. Brain Drain will consist of two SuperLOOP slides from Canadian manufacturer ProSlide.

“Rolling Thunder” is the new high-speed coaster experience that will open up at the resort’s theme park. The looping thrill ride is likely to be a Giant Loop from Larson International, Inc. The ride will send 24 passengers around and around the loop structure at ten revolutions per minute. (eap)
