USA: Schlitterbahn Galveston Island Announces „MASSIV“ as Its New Major Attraction

In December, the Texas-based Schlitterbahn Waterpark Galveston Island announced its plans for the opening of a new major attraction on the occasion of its tenth anniversary this year (cf. EAP News from December 16, 2015). Recently, the waterpark published further information with regard to the novelty of which the exact opening date will be released soon. The park states that “MASSIV” will be a 282-meter long water coaster built by Schlitterbahn in cooperation with WhiteWater West. Schlitterbahn promises its visitors an exciting ride experience featuring some thrill elements. Read more about this new attraction in our next magazine issue (2/16). (eap)
