USA: Universal Studio Parks Open New Horror Maze Attraction
Twentieth Century Fox’ “American Horror Story” has come to life at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood, where guests get creeps in a new maze of different scenes out of the TV series. The new attraction has been opened to visitors the first day of the parks’ yearly “Halloween Horror Nights” last Friday. In “Murder House” (season 1), “Freak Show” (season 4) and “Hotel” (season 5), among others, guests dip in the successful TV series with their zombie characters.
“Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products is thrilled to team once again with Universal Studios to premiere visionary Ryan Murphy’s groundbreaking series ‘American Horror Story’ through an all-new Halloween Horror Night maze, ” said Greg Lombardo, Senior Vice President, Global Live and Location Based Entertainment, Fox Consumer Products. John Murdy, Creative Director at Universal Studios Hollywood and Executive Producer of Halloween Horror Nights, added: “[…] ‘American Horror Story’ has been the number one requested maze from our guests and we’re excited to let them know that we listened to them and are bringing ‘American Horror Story’ to life.”
At Universal Resort Orlando the yearly Halloween Horror Nights take place until October 31st, this year; at Universal Studios Hollywood guests can enjoy the event until November 5th. (eap)
