Wunderland Kalkar Announces New Themed Area

(eap) Wunderland Kalkar amusement park in Germany, which was taken over by DeFabrique Holding in 2022 (see news from 19.04.2023), recently announced its new attraction for this year’s season: “Kernie’s Village”, a new themed area based around the adventures of the park mascots “Kernie” and “Kerna”. Kernie and Kerna’s village will feature a clock tower, a souvenir store and various play options for young visitors. “There is also a great play area in the village, which a lot of work has gone into. The huge playground, the Villa Lustigheim ... all this invites friends to romp around,” announces the park.

The opening of Kernie’s village will be celebrated with a treasure hunt for children on the opening weekend of the season on March 23 and 24. Participants will receive a certificate as a reward. In addition, various events such as the Easter egg hunt, Halloween and Wunderlight Kalkar will also be held this season. ■
