(eap) The German potts park Minden amusement park has announced a new family roller coaster, which will be installed in 2025 in the “Wild Stone Age” themed area directly opposite the Wild Swing attraction “Klippenschleuder”, which was opened in 2022. Like the giant swing, the family roller coaster called “Braus & Saus” is also being developed by German manufacturer ART Engineering.

The new attraction will cover an area of 2,000 square meters and offer space for up to 16 people at a time. Over a track length of 218 meters, the ride will be equipped with “interlocking twisted spikes” – two open track ends – so that the course of the track can be travelled both forwards and backwards. The family-friendly roller coaster will reach a maximum speed of 50 km/h. Accompanied by an adult, children from the age of three and a height of 95 cm will be allowed to ride. The theoretical capacity of the coaster will be 500 people per hour.
A soundtrack (from IMAscore) specially composed for “Braus & Saus” and elaborate theming will immerse visitors in the world of the “Wild Stone Age”. About the theming, which will be once again created for this attraction with designer Alex Korting, potts park has already revealed that visitors will be “washed” and brought back to a “high shine” in a crazy Stone Age car wash immediately after the start of the ride and “air-dried” by the subsequent ride. ■
