Austria: Attraktion! and ONLY World Group Join Forces in Malaysia

Austrian Attraktion! GmbH, creator of media-based attractions for the entertainment, leisure and retail industry, has signed a major attraction sale and collaboration deal with ONLY World Group (OWG), a Malaysian operator and developer of leisure facilities, to install some of its attractions at OWG’s venues. The first project within this contract includes the delivery of a 48-seats 5-D dome theatre, the dance experience “Playoke Dance & Kids” and the virtual “Sea Explorer 5D” tour at OWG’s newest upcoming tourist destination “The Top”, which is scheduled to open at the end of this year on Penang Island. OWG is investing approximately 100 million US dollars (91 million euros) in the latest state of the art interactive attractions at The Top within two years. “We see The Top as the bright start of our collaboration with OWG for the region,” Attraktion!’s CEO Markus Beyr comments.

Covering an area of 300,000 square feet (around 27.870 square meters), The Top will feature attractions, F&B as well as retail. Aesthetic highlights will include “The Ground Stairs” going from the ground level to the fifth floor and a 360 degrees observation deck on level 64. Furthermore, an open-sky bar is expected to open on level 66. “We are delighted to bring innovative new attractions to our market and collaborate with Attraktion!,” OWG’s CEO Richard Koh says. (eap)
