(eap) Florida’s animal and theme park Busch Gardens Tampa Bay has unveiled a new family-friendly themed area called “Wild Oasis”, which is due to open in spring next year. In the jungle area of the park operated by United Parks & Resorts, young visitors will be able to enjoy a reimagined kid-friendly drop tower with digital and sound effects, a water play area and a multi-level climbing canopy. Furthermore, there will be an all-new animal habitat for up-close encounters.

“It’s been five years since guests last stepped foot in the tucked away realm of Treetop Trails in the Jungala area of Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, and we are thrilled to breathe new life into this corner of the park with the development of this realm,” says Stewart Clark, President of Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. “The all-new Wild Oasis truly offers something for everyone – whether you love the thrill of the ride or learning about animals, getting wet or climbing high, or just cooling off under the shade of the rainforest canopy.”

Just this July, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay opened its latest coaster: “Phoenix Rising”, an Inverted Family Coaster by Bolliger & Mabillard (see EAP news from July 23, 2024). ■
