Camping du Lac de la Chausselière to Open Two New Water Slides in 2025

(eap) Camping du Lac de la Chausselière, located in the heart of the Vendée and just a 30-minute drive from the French historical shows theme park Puy du Fou, is planning to open two new water slides from slide manufacturer Edsun next year. A “Wide Slide” and an “Aquatube” are supposed to appeal to all age groups and complement the campsite’s attractions offer. The Wide Slide will be twelve meters long and 2.5 meters wide and will bear the campsite logo in the middle. The Aquatube, on the other hand, will start at a height of over seven meters and then wind its way down a 55-meter-long track. The tube slide will also be equipped with lighting effects. The exterior colour of both slides is to be kept in different shades of green in order to blend in harmoniously with the natural surroundings. The family-friendly campsite currently has a heated pool as well as a children’s pool. ■
