Center Parcs Allgäu Celebrates 5th Anniversary

(eap) Germany’s largest Center Parcs holiday park celebrates its 5th anniversary. To mark the occasion, the “Allgäuer Feschtle” special celebration was held on the fairground on October 1st, with guests enjoying a beer garden and an entertainment program. For five years now, vacationers have been able to enjoy time out close to nature at Center Parcs Allgäu. Since its opening, the park has been expanded by several attractions, including a new high ropes course, an activity tower, a laser battle arena, water zorbing and a bungee trampoline.

But it’s not just the leisure offerings that have evolved, the park’s natural environment did so as well. For example, as the park states, some 3,000 native shrubs and trees as well as 4,000 hardy perennials were planted since the opening. Furthermore, 25 bee colonies, which support Center Parcs’ own honey production, were established on the parks ground. In addition, a total of 25 partners could be acquired whose excursions and experiences in the region are presented and sold directly in the park. The park’s “Allgäu farmers’ market” has currently 15 partners who sell their regional products. ■
