China: Preliminary Results of IAAPA Expo Asia 2019 in Numbers

The three-day IAAPA Expo Asia trade show event, which was hold in Shanghai/China this year, closed today with the following (preliminary) results, as announced by the International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions (IAAPA): The trade show registered a total of 11,400 participants, including 8,100 “buyers“.

Compared to the results of the previous year, when the trade show took place in Hong Kong (with 9,100 participants, including 6,500 “buyers“, cf. EAP 4/2018), the participant rate increased by around 25 percent. On the exhibitor’s side, some 429 companies (2018: 393 companies) presented their products and innovative developments on the show floor.
