England: Martin Booth Joins Simworx
After 24 years with Merlin Entertainments, where most latterly he has hold the position of ride projects technical director within the Merlin Magic Making department, Martin Booth is now joining Simworx, the British specialist for motion-based attractions. He will assume the responsibility as head of projects, co-working with a senior management team consisting of design engineering, project management, technical services and after sales support experts. He will work closely with chief technical officer Andy Roberts and other members of the projects team.
Commenting on the appointment, Simworx’ Managing Director Terry Monkton said: “We are delighted to announce this key appointment for Simworx. Martin’s experience within the parks and attractions industry is second to none and will be of huge benefit to us in the future. We are involved in an increasing variety of projects, all of which will now be able to make use of Martin’s expertise and knowledge to help create even stronger working relationships with clients and provide even better overall customer service. I can already see that he will become an invaluable member of the team, both from our own point of view and that of our customers,” he said.
