(eap) The Erlebnispark Schloss Thurn in the Bavarian town of Heroldsbach, Germany, located between the highways A3 and A73, will be offering its first overnight accommodation from next year.

From May 2025, the new GlampingPark will offer 170 pitches for caravans and motorhomes as well as seven glamping lodges and the opportunity to extend ones stay in the theme park. GlampingPark guests will have their own access to the leisure park, and the Western Town gastronomy will also be available after the park closes.

Owner Benedikt Graf von Bentzel has had the idea for this project in mind for several years, not only to extend the length of stay in his own park but also to have a positive impact on the regional economy. On the one hand, von Bentzel is targeting guests from the region who can spend a short vacation at Schloss Thurn; on the other hand, the location is also ideal for families traveling south, who can make a stopover at the new GlampingPark, including a trip to the leisure park, according to von Bentzel.

In addition, the GlampingPark will have a playground area and will also offer a pleasant experience for our little animal friends with a dog park. The opening period of the new accommodation offer will be roughly the same as that of the leisure park and will therefore be open from April to November. ■
