France: Christmas Time at Disneyland Paris
While pumpkins and scary decorations are still determining the park picture of Disneyland Paris, the destination recently announced details for the upcoming Christmas season, which will create festive joy from November 13th, 2021 through January 9th, 2022. With “Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade!“ the park developed an all-new parade including five new floats. “This new Parade is a surprise because there is a daytime version and it becomes a new show nightfall with hundreds of thousands of lights that illuminate these floats and tell a new story,“ said Emanuel Lenormand, Show Director at Disneyland Paris.
Another highlight of the winter season will be the long-awaited return of the 30-minute-long show “The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands“ on Oktober 30th, which guest will be able to enjoy at Frontierland Theater (see EAP 1/2020). Additonally, the “Main Street“ will be bathed in white by artificial snow more than twelve times a day and visitors have the opportunity to shop seasonal merchandise products as well as enjoy festive snacks and drinks in the park’s restaurants.
