France: New 4D Attraction “Attention Menhir!” Now Open at Parc Asterix

Last week, a new family attraction called “Attention Menhir!” was presented to the visitors of French Parc Asterix. The new 4D cinema attraction, supplied by CL Corporation, is one of several novelties that will be launched in the course of the park’s anniversary year (owned by Compagnie des Alpes group, the park celebrates its 30th birthday this year). Equipped with a pre-show and 300 motion seats with full effect and motion by D-Box Technologies, the new attraction has found its place in a building formerly known as “Cinematographe”. Side note: The title of the 38th Asterix album was only announced yesterday: “The daughter of Vercingetorix” will be available as of 24 October 2019. Since 1959, 375 million copies and translations in 111 languages and dialects have been sold, 130 million of them in Germany alone. (eap)
