France: O’Gliss Park Offers New Pirate Water Play Fun as of This Summer
Opened six years ago and located in the French Vendée, O’Gliss Park is one of the largest water parks in the country (cf. EAP 5/2016 & 5/2018). For the coming season, which starts on 25 June, the park will hand over to its visitors “Le Galion des Moussaillons” (Eng.: The Galleon of the Ship Boys), a novelty specifically aimed at the youngest guests. The existing park area “Ludo’Park”, which is dedicated in particular to children up to the age of ten, will have a new water play area consisting of a pirate ship with several children’s slides and a splash pad in an island design. The new attraction will invite to splash, slide and have fun. The new water playground was designed and realized by the French company EDSUN.
In addition, there will be two new, exotic mascots of the water park to discover with “O’Poko” and “O’Poka”, the totems of the water. Under the name of “O’To Resto”, guests will also find new self-service kiosks in the park where they can grab a quick snack in between. O’Gliss Park welcomes more than 200,000 visitors annually. The group of companies also includes the O’Fun Park, an outdoor activity park, which was opened in 2002 under the name “Indian Forest” and primarily focuses on activities in nature such as climbing etc. (eap)
