France: Vulcania Reveals Details on New Coaster – Opening Scheduled for 2021
Vulcania, the science and leisure park located in the French Auvergne region focusing on the three topics of “volcanoes”, “natural phenomena” and “the Earth in space”, will open a new rollercoaster in the 2021 season, on which the park just revealed first details.
“Namazu” will be the name of the “Family Drop Launch Coaster” from Intamin, which will offer an exciting ride experience for families with two launch sections and a free fall element on a total track length of 584 meters. The storytelling of the ride will relate to earthquakes and will invite to seismic research in a science center.
This new attraction will be Vulcania’s very first rollercoaster. (eap)
