(eap) Dueling with friends, family or colleagues like in a TV show is now possible at Games House Dortmund in Germany’s Ruhr region. On an area of 1,600 square meters, groups of three or more can compete against each other in themed rooms in a mixture of knowledge, sports and skill games.

“Our games are guaranteed to suit every taste,” says Managing Director Christian Tropp. “The concept has been specially developed for guests aged 14 to 99.” Visitors can expect a two-hour game show with a total of nine different games, accompanied by a game show presenter. The participants’ results are recorded digitally so that the teams can compete with other visitors on a leader board.

“In addition to our quiz games such as ‘Huh, where is that?’, the highlights definitely include the game ‘The Coup’, in which players have to overcome a laser maze to steal a work of art from a museum, just like in the movie ‘Ocean’s 12’,” says Tropp. ■
