Germany: First Slides Installed at New Rulantica Water Park
Construction works on “Rulantica” – the new water park of Germany’s Europa-Park (cf. EAP 6/17 & EAP News f. Dec 12th, 2018) – continue at full steam: After the installation of the first slides at the water park’s west slide tower, this week saw the arrival of a 13-ton element for the “TornadoWave” attraction, the largest building block so far.
The opening of Rulantica is scheduled for the end of this year; as of May 31st, guests will be able to stay overnight at the new, related “Krønasår“ adventure hotel (cf. EAP News from June 28th, 2018). By the end of May, Europa-Park’s Scandinavian theme area will also be re-opened again after a transformation. (eap)
