Germany: Unique Youseum Concept Coming to Westfield Centro

Following the successful implementation of the Youseum concept at the Westfield Mall of the Netherlands in Leidschendam, the Netherlands (another Youseum attraction is located in the city center of Amsterdam), the Westfield Centro in Oberhausen, Germany (cf. EAP news of 9 July 2021) will soon also be able to offer its visitors such a social media experience. Starting this fall, guests of the well-known shopping center will be able to let their imagination flow in the “social media museum”, which is being realized for the first time in the German market and will cover an area of around 1,000 square meters, by creating content for their social media channels such as Instagram and TikTok on a tour through various rooms with funky backdrops.

With this addition, the shopping mall’s operator, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield Germany, aims to once again boost Westfield Centro’s profile as a unique retail, leisure and lifestyle destination in the region. Another Youseum location is also to be realized at the Westfield Mall of Scandinavia in Stockholm, Sweden. (eap)
