Germany‘s Largest Science & MINT Festival Again Held at Europa-Park

Since 2001, the “Science Days“ have taken place every fall at Europa-Park Rust. The three-day long event, which took place this year from October 20 to 22, is organized by Science & Technologie gGmbH in cooperation with the Europa-Park. This year, knowledge was imparted to young and old in the park‘s Confertainment Center under the guiding theme “Calculate with us“. The program is not only aimed at schoolchildren and teachers, but also at interested people of all ages.

This year, 75 exhibitors had numerous offers ready for the visitors. Information was conveyed to the guests not only theoretically, but above all practically through various hands-on activities such as tricky puzzles or VR glasses, so that knowledge could be acquired in a playful way. Among other things, the event also featured a fire show by Magic Andy and insights into the work of Germany‘s best-known criminal biologist Mark Benecke. “Seeing and observing the children and teens with what enthusiasm they participate in the Science Days and the experiments there is fantastic and shows how important extracurricular places of learning are. We are delighted about the cooperation with ‘Science and Technology‘,“ says Europa-Park co-owner Jürgen Mack. (eap)
